Dhaka, February 21: Chief Justice Hasan Fayez Siddiqui has said that judgment has been written in Bengali in the Supreme Court. He said a separate branch has been set up for the full implementation of the judgment. He was speaking to reporters after paying homage to the language martyrs and laying a wreath at the central Shaheed Minar on Monday (February 21) morning.

The Chief Justice said, "Today we remember our great language martyrs with respect. We have to play a role in the formation of the country inspired by the spirit and patriotism that they were martyred for the language that day."

Although most of the judgments and orders in the lower courts of the country are in Bengal, now there is a growing tendency to give judgments and orders in Bengal in the higher and highest courts as well. Even a decade ago, the number of judgments and orders in the High Court in Bengal was insignificant.

New software 'Amar Bhasa' has been added to the Supreme Court to translate the verdict in English into Bengali so that the general public and the litigants can understand the verdict. This software will translate court decisions given in English into Bengali. The use of the software will make court decisions easier for litigants and the general public. India has assisted in the development of this software.
