Haor Three ministers cut paddy together in Haor
Dhaka, April 19: The three ministers attended the Boro paddy cutting festival in Sunamganj. At this time they cut paddy together. They joined the festival on Wednesday afternoon. The three ministers are - Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzak, Planning Minister MA Mannan and Deputy Minister Enamul Haque Shamim.
The agriculture minister said that the farmers work hard to cultivate paddy. But due to early floods, the rice of the farmers got submerged before they could take it home. It is very good to come to Howar this year and see the yield of Boro rice. In the meantime, 30 percent of Haor's paddy has been harvested. Farmers will benefit a lot from the price of paddy decided this year.
The minister said that the year when Haor rice is grown, people from all over the country can eat it. And in the year when Haor's rice fails, there is a food crisis. This time, before the flood, Haor's paddy will go up in the house. Meanwhile, 1000 paddy cutting machines are cutting Haor's paddy.
Meanwhile, Planning Minister MA Mannan said that no more roads will be constructed in Jalabhoomi Howar. But there will be a flyover, the work of which has already started. The minister also said that it is not possible to fight with nature to raise paddy at home. We have to adapt to nature. However, no more mud dams will be constructed in Howar. Scientifically researched the crop period instead of 120 days if 100 days planning has been undertaken. Hope we will succeed in this. Even before the advance flood, the farmers will be able to harvest Haor paddy at home.
