Bangladesh Travel advisory is a personal choice of US: Minister
Dhaka, 15 October 2023: Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen said that the US always issues these warnings to its citizens.
"We are a peaceful country," the minister said.
"No one has any reason to fear," he said.
The foreign minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at the release of Aruparatan Chowdhury's music video 'Elo Ma Durga'.
He said, "Those who work as agents of humanity, are now involved in killing humanity. So many people are dying, everyone is silent. Their humanity is actually questionable. We don't want war. We have sheltered 11 lakh people. And deporting millions of people to Palestine. It is a shame for humanity. We have always been with the people of Palestine. We have little capacity, but our emotional support is for Palestine."
He urged to build a beautiful Bangladesh by maintaining the continuity of communal beauty and stability by defeating all injustice and evil forces.
The minister said,"If peace and stability are maintained, we will surely succeed in our progress on the highway of development. Considerable initiatives have been taken under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina so that people of Sanatan religion can celebrate puja without any disturbance. As a result, the number of pujamandap is increasing every year."
Aruparatan Chowdhury said that Durga Puja is a gathering of people of all communities.
