Bangladesh-India Tripura CM Deb dials PM Hasina after receiving gift
Dhaka, July 7: Chief Minister of the Indian state of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb telephoned Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after receiving a gift containing the famous Haribhanga Mangoes from Rangpur. MM Imrul Kayes, Assistant Press Secretary to the Prime Minister, said Deb telephoned the Prime Minister on Tuesday evening.
The press secretary said that the Tripura Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to thank her for sending the mangoes as gift.
On Monday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sent 300 kg of mangoes as a gift to Tripura Chief Minister Biplob Kumar Deb through the Akhaura land port in Brahmanbaria.
Chief Minister Deb has also informed that the famous Queen Variety Pineapple of Tripura will be sent for Sheikh Hasina, after he received the mango.
