Dhaka, June 17: The feud between Jatiya Party's chief patron and leader of the opposition in Parliament, Rowshan Ershad, and party chairman GM Quader has been going on for a long time. At present, it has reached an extreme shape with the nomination of candidates for the parliamentary by-elections. Before this, the party's politics spread heat due to the last council.

Rowshan returned home after treatment in Thailand at the end of last year. She then announced the date of the council. Her followers also declared her acting chairman. Later everything was suspended. On the other hand, leaders who follow Rowshan went to court to stop GM Quader from serving as chairman.

This time, the party's internal politics has heated up again with the candidate for the Dhaka-17 seat by-election.

Chairman GM Quader has nominated Sikdar Anichur Rahman to be elected in this seat. On the other hand, Rowshan Ershad has nominated Kazi Mamunur Rashid. Both of them who got nominations from the same party have submitted their nomination papers to the Election Commission.

Kazi Mamunur Rashid submitted nomination papers in the name of Jatiya Party on Wednesday to participate in the polls in this seat. And retired Major Sikder Anichur Rahman submitted nomination papers on Thursday.

Anichur Rahman said, party documents have to be submitted to be a party candidate. Under the leadership of JP chairman submitted due process, another one did not get party nomination due process.

In this regard, Rowshan-follower leader Iqbal Hossain Raju said, High Court's verdict is in our favour. Plow Rowshan Ershad. We have not spoken to GM Quader. Nominated by GM Kader, he was never a Jatiya Party worker.

In response to the question whether Mamunur Rashid will retreat or not, he said, "We will not move. If necessary, I will take it to the Supreme Court. If we don't get plough, we will go to high court."

However, the EC has not yet decided on this. The organization responsible for organizing the election has taken the nomination papers of the two candidates. When asked who will be given the plow symbol, Returning Officer Munir Hossain Khan said, the nomination papers will be verified. The day of verification will be announced after reviewing the law on Sunday.

In this regard, the general secretary of the party, Mujibul Haque Chunnu, said that there is no doubt that Anichur is the candidate of JP. Rowshan does not have the power to make nominations bypassing the party chairman.
