Election US election observer expresses satisfaction with polls
Dhaka, Jan 7: An election observer from the United States expressed his satisfaction with the presence of polling agents representing various candidates in the 12th National Parliament elections.
President of Gold Institute for International Strategy (GIIS), Eli M. Gold, told the media that he saw about 40 polling agents in Gulshan Model School premises, a polling station in Dhaka-17 Constituency.
After the visit, he told reporters, "I observed the activities of this centre and saw that the election process is going on properly."
"I'll be visiting a few more centers around town today," Gold added.
The Gold Institute for International Strategy is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit think-tank that addresses emerging national security issues facing the United States, Canada, and European countries.
