US Visa US increases visa fees
Dhaka, June 19: The United States has increased application fees for certain nonimmigrant visas (NIVs), including travel, business, and temporary workers. On Sunday, the Facebook page of the United States Embassy in Dhaka informed about the increase in visa fees. The new visa fee came into effect from Saturday.
The U.S. Department of State has increased the processing fees for certain nonimmigrant visa (immigrant visa) applications, according to the U.S. Embassy's Facebook page. This increased fee will be effective from 17 June 2023 (has been).
Below is the list of revised visa fees:
Application fees for business or tourism visitor visas (E1/E2) and other application-free nonimmigrant visas, such as student and exchange visitor visas, have been increased from $160 to $185. Certain application-based nonimmigrant visa application fees for temporary workers have been increased from $190 to $205. The application fee has been increased from $205 to $315 for treaty traders and investors and for treaty applicants in any special profession (E category).
