Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 25 January 2024: Attorney General AM Amin Uddin has said that it is unfortunate that the questioning of Bangladesh's judicial process in the letter of 12 US senators sent to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina regarding Nobel laureate Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus is unfortunate.

In this context, he said, it is not advisable to give any kind of comment or response without knowing the judicial process of any country. He said this on Wednesday in a response to the letter of 12 senators about Dr. Yunus in his office at the Supreme Court.

The Attorney General said that it is not appropriate to send a letter in this regard to the Prime Minister. Because he is not a member of the judiciary. Dr. Yunus' case was tried in open court. If anyone has any comments or feedback about it, there is a system to notify it. There they can give their speech. The people or organizations in the outside world who are talking about the case of Dr. Yunus, they do not know anything about the judicial system of Bangladesh or someone is influencing them to do these things.

On January 22, 12 senators of the US Parliament sent a letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina regarding Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
