Parliament accepts Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's proposal on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Parliament
Dhaka, April 10: On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Jatiya Sangsad, the resolution (general) brought by Prime Minister and Parliament Leader Sheikh Hasina was unanimously accepted in the Parliament on Monday. Prime Minister and Parliament Leader Sheikh Hasina raised the proposal on April 7 under Section 147 of the Rules of Procedure.

9th session of Parliament to begin on September 6
নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, ১৯ আগস্ট ২০২০ : চলমান একাদশ জাতীয় সংসদের নবম অধিবেশন আগামী ৬ সেপ্টেম্বর শুরু হতে পারে। তবে এবারের অধিবেশনের মেয়াদও সংক্ষিপ্ত হবে। করোনাকালের বিবেচনায় এটি মাত্র পাঁচ কার্যদিবস চলতে পারবে। সাংবিধানিক বাধ্যবাধকতা থেকে এবারও করোনাকালেই অধিবেশন বসছে। তবে আগের অধিবেশনগুলোর মত এবারও কঠোর স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মানা হবে।
Money bill passed by Bangladesh parliament
ঢাকা, জুন ২৯ : সরকারের আর্থিক প্রস্তাবসমূহ কার্যকরণ এবং কতিপয় বিদ্যমান আইন কর প্রস্তাব সংশোধন করে আজ সোমবার সংসদে অর্থ বিল, ২০২০ সংশোধিত আকারে পাস করা হয়েছে। অর্থমন্ত্রী আ হ ম মুস্তফা কামাল বিলটি পাসের প্রস্তাব করেন। গত ১১ জুন তিনি বিলটি সংসদে উত্থাপন করেন।
Bangladesh Parliament to meet today
ঢাকা, জুন ২৯ : পাঁচ দিন বিরতির পর আজ সোমবার (২৯ জুন) বসছে সংসদের মুলতবি বৈঠক। সকাল ১১টায় সংসদেও বৈঠক শুরু হবে। এদিন বাজেটের ওপর সংক্ষিপ্ত আলোচনা শেষে অর্থবিল পাস হবে। আগামীকাল মঙ্গলবার (৩০ জুন) পাস হবে নতুন অর্থবছরের (২০২০-২১) বাজেট। এটি কার্যকর হবে ১ জুলাই। এর আগে সাত দিন বিরতির পর গত ২৩ জুন এক কার্যদিবস চলার পর এই মুলতবি দেওয়া হয়।

নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, ডিসেম্বর ২৫ : জাতীয় সংসদের শীতকালীন অধিবেশন ৯ জানুয়ারি শুরু হবে। ওইদিন বিকেল ৪টায় সংসদ অধিবেশন বসবে। এটা হবে নতুন বছরের প্রথম ও শীতকালীন অধিবেশন। সংসদের গণসংযোগ অধিশাখা সূত্রে এ তথ্য জানা গেছে।
