Elections | Army EC will take the help of the army in the national elections
Dhaka, August 25: It has been decided to take the help of the army in the upcoming parliamentary elections. However, the organization does not want to give any judicial power to the army members. Election Commissioner Md Alamgir told reporters at the Agargaon election building in the capital on Thursday (August 25).
He said, "We will take the help of the army in the next election, it is in our decision. We will propose to the government to give the help of the army."
The Election Commissioner also said, "During national elections, the army is there to help maintain law and order, to patrol. It goes where it is called upon."
