National Parliament First session of 12th National Parliament to begin on Jan 30
Dhaka, Jan 16: The first session of the 12th National Parliament will begin on Tuesday, January 30.
Public Relations Director (Joint Secretary) Md. Tariq Mahmud of the National Parliament Secretariat informed this information in a press release on Monday.
It is said that the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Shahabuddin, has convened the first session of the 12th National Parliament and the first session of 2024 in the parliament hall of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban located in Sherebangla Nagar, Dhaka on Tuesday, January 30.
It is also reported that he has convened this session under the power given in Clause (1) of Article 72 of the Constitution of Bangladesh.
