Dhaka, December 10: DMP Joint Commissioner Biplab Kumar Sarkar said that Jamaat and BNP are jointly planning attacks and sabotage. On Friday (December 9) around 2 pm after Friday prayers, police chased some worshipers shouting slogans in the alley of Paltan Samaj Kalyan Masjid.

Biplab Kumar Sarkar said that after Friday prayers, several worshipers gathered and protested in the street of Paltan cooperative mosque. They tried to enter inside by chanting slogans used by Jamaat. You know this slogan is the slogan of a banned party in Bangladesh. That means there is unity of Jamaat with BNP. Now no one will be spared who plans sabotage.

Biplab Kumar Sarkar said that 40-50 people chanted 'Nara E Takbeer Allahu Akbar' here. They are actually Jamaat-BNP people in the guise of Muslims. Because we know this slogan is given by the banned party. These people were trying to enter here along with the group that announced to hold a rally on December 10. So they have been removed.

Biplab Kumar said about opening the road to Paltan on Thursday but closing it again on Friday, this decision was taken after analyzing the security depending on the time. Various security measures are taken to ensure the safety of citizens living and working in this area. Open when deemed safe. If any kind of risk is seen again it is stopped.

When asked if there is any security threat, he said, "You have seen Jamaat BNP people trying to enter here in the guise of Muslims. We are extremely careful to prevent them. No miscreants or subversives or Jamaat-shibir will be spared at all. When some worshipers gathered after Friday prayers at Fakirapool intersection, the police dispersed them by firing tear shells.
