RAB Director General said, we have already completed the necessary security measures for the fair and peaceful completion of this election. I have visited several polling stations. Looks like everything is fine, nice environment.

He said that voting is the democratic right of people. Once in every 5 years people get a chance to vote in the National Assembly elections. We are ready to ensure that people from all walks of life can exercise their voting rights without any hindrance on January 7. In the meantime, we have taken adequate security measures in coordination with the members of the law enforcement agencies and various intelligence agencies.

We have RAB units across the country where we are doing robust patrolling as a striking force. About 700 mobile petrol will work on the occasion of election. With that, our intelligence surveillance will continue in white clothes. Our cyber patrolling is in progress to prevent various types of rumours. Our sweeping team is working. There will be dog squads, bomb squads. In case of any emergency, our helicopter will be on standby.
