Road accident in Noakhali kills 2, injures one
Dhaka, September 11: At least two people were killed and another injured in a road accident in Noakhali's Begumganj upazila on Thursday night.
The accident took place at Anantapur at around 10 pm, reported Dhaka Tribune.
The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Kamal, a resident of Debipur village of Nowazpur union and an unidentified 32-year-old man.
A Feni bound bus and a CNG auto rickshaw collided head on, killing the driver of the latter on the spot.
The two passengers sustained critical injuries and were rushed to the hospital, where Kamal succumbed to his wounds.
Begumganj model police station Officer-in-Charge Harun-ur-Rashid said legal action will be taken against those involved.
