He said this while talking to reporters at his office in Agargaon election building on Thursday.

In response to the question of the journalists whether two parties are being registered with the same name, he said, "We have nothing to do here. Supreme Court's order. The court has also told what will be their mark. Their mark will be 'Golden Fibre'.

In response to another question, Md. Alamgir said that the party will be registered as soon as possible. There is no chance of delay. After the court has given instructions, there is no opportunity to look into the matter. Because we are bound to follow the court's order. The court must have found evidence of them.

Regarding the registration of new parties, he said, 93 new parties had applied for registration. As five parties did not apply in due process, their applications were rejected. All of those parties have withdrawn the application.

Many parties did not provide the information required to be provided with the application form during the initial verification. We have asked for them. they gave Next Sunday, the verification committee will sit with them again. After that, it will be checked whether the parties have offices or committees at the field level. If they do not pass it, they will not get registration. That is, every subject will be seen.

Regarding the new group of Jamaat leaders, he said, those who are war criminals, or those against whom there is a case, cannot be registered as per the constitution, EC guidelines and court directives. Nothing can be said based on assumptions. We have to say everything according to the law. We have to say if there is anything unconstitutional, if there is anything prohibited in our People's Representation Order, the observations of the court, especially on the Jamaat, should be taken into consideration.

At present, the number of political parties registered with the EC is 39. He said that this number will increase before the next parliamentary elections.
