Quarantine of passengers returning from the UK is now four days
Dhaka, January 14: Compulsory quarantine for passengers returning from the UK has been reduced to four days. The decision was announced in a directive issued by the health department on January 13. Earlier, the period of compulsory quarantine was 14 days.

Dhaka, January 9: Pakistan has lifted all visa bans on Bangladeshi nationals. A statement from the Pakistan High Commission in Bangladesh confirmed the information. Qatar-based Al Jazeera quoted the statement as saying that Pakistan expected similar action from Bangladesh. However, Bangladesh has not shown any interest in this regard.

Dhaka, January 9: In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus through UK travelers, the government has made a mandatory 14-day institutional quarantine for all passengers returning to the UK from January 1 (in government-run or government-designated residential hotels).
Number of passengers sent to the mandatory quarantine crosses 50
Dhaka, January 4: In the last 24 hours (January 3, 8 am to January 4, 8 am) at Shahjalal International Airport 4,081 passengers have returned home on 23 flights from around the world. Thirteen of them, returning in four flights from the UK, have been sent to a 14-day mandatory quarantine. In the last three days, a total of 53 people were sent to quarantine. Some of the passengers are staying in quarantine at government-designated residential hotels at their own expense.
Biman flights to Saudi Arabia to resume on January 6
Dhaka, January 4: As the Saudi government lifted the ban, Biman Bangladesh Airlines' Saudi-bound flights will resume regular operations from January 6 (Wednesday). Passengers of previously canceled flights will be given tickets on a priority basis subject to vacancies on the flight.

165 Britain returnees in home quarantine

After landing at Sylhet MAG Osmani International Airport, all the 165 passengers returning from Britain on Thursday morning, were sent to their respective homes with instructions to stay in home quarantine.
