Own Correspondent, Dhaka, January 18: A laws will be enacted to make the list of Razakars, Al-Badr, Al-Shams and other anti-liberation elements of Bangladesh. The cabinet has given final approval to draft the new National Freedom Fighters Council Act, 2022, empowering the National Freedom Fighter Council (Jamuka) to make a list of them and recommend them to the government for publication in the Gazette.

Prime Minister inaugurates Bangabandhu Military Museum

81st report in the case of crimes against humanity during Liberation War published

Dhaka, December 29: The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) has released the 81st report in the case of crimes against humanity during the Liberation War. The investigation agency on Tuesday released a full investigation report against four persons from Lalmonirhat on charges of crimes against humanity including murder, looting, torture, arson and destruction during the war of liberation. The report was released by the agency's chief coordinator M Sanaul Haque at a press conference at the agency's office in Dhanmondi.

Medical contract of heroic freedom fighters extended by 5 years

Own representative, Dhaka, December 24: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been renewed between the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and the Directorate Heneral of Health Services (DGHS) to provide medical services to heroic freedom fighters in government and specialized hospitals. This memorandum of understanding will remain in force for the next five years.

All heroic freedom fighters to be given identity cards

Wife seeks blessings for former minister and freedom fighter AK Khandker
